Lisabeth Lewis is obsessed with food...or not eating it, that is. She is anorexic but will never admit it. On the verge of killing herself, she is chosen by death to become one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse. She becomes Famine. This was a very intriguing book. The story goes back and forth between Lisabeth's life as a regular teen and Lisabeth as Famine traveling the ends of the earth seeing the destructiveness of true hunger. I found this to be a very quick read. It grabbed my attention and I kept reading. It also led me to continue to read other books about the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.
