I liked this little book. Mack is an unlikely hero because he is just so ordinary. He is plagued by phobias, but that doesn't stop him from trying to save the world as part of a group of 12 kids that must fight the mother of all evil and her equally evil daughter. In this book he only finds one other of the Magnificent 12 so you know there is more to come. There were some chuckle out loud moments!
