I loved Kelley Armstrong's other trilogy for young adults (The Summoning, The Awakening and the Reckoning) and she doesn't disappoint in the first one of this series either. We know it is going to be a series because this one leaves us hanging...ARRRRGG! (and no, I haven't purchased the 2nd one for the library...YET). Maya is a great character and the strange happenings occurring in her small town keep you on the edge of your seat. What is up with Maya's strange paw-print birthmark? Read it and see what you think.
